Dr. Pink Sidhu has been in practice for almost ten years serving the Weston, York, Brampton, Rexdale, Mississauga, and North York, Toronto area. She has built her practice in all aspects of eye care placing special interest in glaucoma, diabetic, senior and pediatric care, Lasik management and preventative eye care. Over the years, she has worked in retail setups like The Real Canadian Superstore and LensCrafters, and has also gained experience working in a multi-doctor office as well as working alongside an ophthalmologist.
She believes in modern Optometry and sees value in the advanced technology available in her office to allows for her to provide a comprehensive eye exam experience for the whole family. She takes a special interest in the pediatric and children eye exams and myopia control using atropine, and specialty lenses and contacts. She also expanded her scope of practice into the dry eye, offering a medical approach to managing dry eye symptoms. This involves the use of antibiotics, ointments, drops, and medical grade omega 3 as well as specialty devices.
Dr. Pink Sidhu takes pride in delivering patient care that is nothing short of excellence. She prides herself in her patient-centered approach and values her relationships with each and every patient offering individualized treatment plans.
In her spare time, she can be found spending time with her husband and two small children. She enjoys traveling and living an active lifestyle.
Dr. Pink Sidhu started her undergraduate degree at the University of Waterloo before moving onto the State University of New York to pursue her Doctorate of Optometry. Her passion and enthusiasm for education and professional development continue as she takes on continued education in Canada and the USA to provide for a comprehensive eye exam experience and continues to practice modern medicine.
Dr. Adela Chung graduated from the New England College of Optometry in 1995. She has since been in private practice providing primary vision care. She loves taking care of “eyeballs” and meeting patients’ visual needs. Outside of optometry, you will find Dr. Chung curled up on her couch reading or at the gym trying to keep up in boot camp!
Dr. Lee received her Doctor of Optometry degree from University of Waterloo and completed her undergraduate studies in University of Waterloo as well. She went through extensive training in ocular disease and therapeutics at the Lexington Veterans Affairs Medical Centre in Kentucky. During her internship, she gained experience in diagnosing and treating ocular disease such as diabetic retinopathy, dry eyes, age-related macular degeneration and cataracts. She also has traveled to Dominican Republic to serve people who are in need of optometric care. She is currently a member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario, Ontario Association of Optometrists, and Canadian Association of Optometrists. She strongly believes in patient centred eye care and is looking forward to meet patients of all ages in Thorncliffe Park area.
Dr. Andrew Attardo was born in Montreal, QC where he was raised in the Italian borough of Saint-Leonard. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Anatomy & Cell Biology within McGill University’s Faculty of Medicine and went on to study Optometry at Aston University in Birmingham, UK where he graduated with first honours and was awarded the Elsevier Prize for Clinical Excellence in 2015. There he researched the effects of cataracts on oxygen readings from the retina and published his first paper with Dr. Rebekka Heitmar. He then practised community Optometry for 2 years in Cornwall, gaining recognition as a health advocate for regular vision screenings and early detection of eye disease. He returned back home to Canada where he became therapeutically-licensed at Waterloo University to treat eye diseases such as glaucoma and keratitis. Dr. Attardo’s philosophy is all about education and prevention, and he seeks to make the eye exam an enjoyable and informative experience.
Dr. Antoniette Liwanag was born and raised in the Philippines. She earned her Doctor of Optometry at Centro Escolar University in Manila, Philippines. She did her International Bridging Program in University of Waterloo.
Dr. Liwanag is a licensed therapeutic optometrist. Her practice includes family eye care, diagnosis and management of ocular diseases, refractive (LASIK) and cataract surgery co-management.
